Classics Poem by ER Bron Chiong, RSW

only once
we were kids
never to return
same path of life

but now
we're mature
living our dreams
to the fullest

the families we had enjoyed
the faith we treasure most
tested again and again
in this cycle of life

over these years
habits become ingrained
tastes are developed
personality takes form
creates who we are now

amidst the forgotten past
the present we overcome
anticipates the bright future
of the great unknown

reminiscing the good old days
and beyond that comes our way
celebrating dates and anniversaries
as the family grows in numbers

but still life goes on and on
till the time has come for us
to depart this wonderful world
into everlasting life elsewhere
