Clarity Poem by Melchisedeck Roche

Clarity

Clarity

Please tell me something,
I'm a bit curious
Is there something here
Cause it's not that obvious

I know you know I like you
I wish I could say the same
And yes, we talk in passing
But that's all this has became

And, don't get me wrong
I appreciate every second we share
And, at times, it's perfect
To take me from down to up there

However, passing gestures are nice
But I wish I had more
And to be honest, I wish I had you
And something meaningful to explore

You say I'm not being neglected
And, you're just elsewhere mentality
I don't know what's worse
That, or being elsewhere physically

Let's see what tomorrow brings
Hopefully, a bit more than a hi and bye
And, if nothing else comes from this
At least I can say I tried

I want you to know
I will pursue and not ignore
I will try and try and try
Until you tell me to try no more
