Clarity Poem by James Dionne

Clarity

And the child Among.
And the man Before.
The Old one upon the log.
The gasping breath that remembers it all.
The One that died for all.
The Girl who dimmed at the end of Time.
And the fire that went dim before.

The snowflakes that watered before Them.
And the tears that Dropped before the day.
The lost Blood over Sanity and regret.
The books said Remorse was joyous - seeing defeat is happier.

Happiness died when they all cascaded.
Sadness set in when the weak became Strong.
Anger filled with the reprisal of memory and remedy.
confusion occurred when everything Became one.

White died and turned a dark hue, and the sun became the light of Darkness.
Black laughed and recovered its long lost Sun becoming one with the Sky.

don't worry; there are no Lies or thoughts.
There's a new beginning to it All.

The clock remains broken, the hands at Twelve.
Sometimes I wonder, does it ever Move at all?
