City Of The Moon Poem by Kriztan Rei Palces

City Of The Moon

In between the broad earth and endless sky
there, where you can't hear the city's cry
at the very peak of the parrot's beak
two Thomasian poets meet

I, a jester with a warrior's might
met you, a hopeless romantic from the night
and yes it's true, we seldom speak
for we talk through our ball pen's leak

In the past, our faiths battled
who's right or wrong, all is baffled
but to hell with that, the past has ended
for today, the moon has the cross befriended.
