Christmas Eve Poem by David Reeves

Christmas Eve

Rating: 3.0

As I lie in my bed I hear a
Sound
Of jingle bells playing all
Around
They seem to stop above my
House
So I lie there quiet as a
Mouse
I know it's Santa and want to
Peep
But lie there as if I'm fast
Asleep
Dare I see him but if I
Do
Will he say no presents for
You
Then tell Rudolph what I've
Done
And take away my Christmas
Fun
But as the jingle bells drift
Away
I fall asleep until Christmas
Day
