Christmas! Easter! Pentecost! And More! Poem by Denis Martindale

The greatest story ever told is of the King of Kings,
The Son of Man meant to behold, for He, God's Pardon brings,
The young Messiah preached good news until His final breath,
Both for the Gentiles and the Jews: Jesus of Nazareth!
How great Thou art, some pray to God, amazing grace to share,
Accepting Christ's death and Christ's Blood, anointing holy prayer,
Then waiting still for Pentecost, the Holy Spirit's Day,
To preach the Gospel to the lost that none can take away!

Thank God for Peter, and for Paul, disciples to the end,
For every single miracle so Man could comprehend,
The height, the width, and depth of love, God grants for evermore,
Amazing grace that proves enough, with greater still in store.
The greatest story ever told is of the King of Kings,
The Son of God, as good as gold, to whom each angel sings,
God's revelation to proclaim, in Heaven and on Earth,
Salvation in Christ's Holy Name for those who love and serve!
