Christianity Redefined

Rating: 4.0

You know that she's half-crazy
But that's why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from China
And just when you mean to tell her
That you have no love to give her
She lets the river answer that
You've always been her lover.

And Jesus was a female sailor
When she walked upon the water
And she spent a long time watching
All along the lonely FBI tower
And when she knew for certain
Only drowning men could see her
She said all women will be sailors
Then until the sea shall free them
But she herself was broken
Long before the sky would open
Forsaken, almost human
She sank beneath your wisdom
Like a rolling stone.

And you want to travel with her
And you don't mind to travel blind
And you think you can trust her blindly
For she's touched your imperfect mind
With her perfect body.

Brexit+Trump's winning a rigged election
There must be some kind of way outta here
Said the joker to the Presidential fraud & racketeer
There's too much Republican confusion
I can't get no democratic relief, Human-rights-at-Risk
1% Business men, they eat my steaks
drink my wine, worship my God.

No reason to get excited, unimaginable foe
The impeached President he kindly spoke
There are many here among us, some humane
Who feel that life in America is but a joke
But, you and I, we've been through that
And this is our fate, just read the Old Testament
It has always been like that, ask Job
So let us stop talking hypocritically now.

The hour's getting late, all along the watchtower
First Lady's sleeping with President Putin
While most beloved prostitutes came and went
Barefoot servants, overworked & unpaid too
Outside in the cold distance, pure distress
Wildcat growl, snake-made climate change
Two God-emperors on stolen horses approaching
And the wind of global warming began to howl
Where is Goldilocks when you need her?
