Christian (Free Form) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Christian (Free Form)

Words reflect the man,
For out of the mouth
The heart speaks.

And as a man thinks
In his hollow heart
So the truth of who he is.

Faith declared through discord
Nullifies the truth

Testifies to every word
Speech revealed by fruit.

A child of God is peacemaker
He shuns the arguments

He is a Salt and Light bearer
Gentle in sentiments.

The badge of Christ he's wearing
A disciple and follower

For in Christ, he is truly nothing
Even if he's the world's best writer!

'Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.'

Proverbs 16: 24
