Chimagination Poem by Cheng Zheng

Chimagination

Rating: 5.0

If words grew on trees
and ants flew like bees
and rainbows appeared where forever was feared
the dragon whose beard like with fire was seared
where desert sand was covered with rime
and ancient armies were drowned in time
where lemon sour was found to have power
and rainclouds do devour all that can cower
like magic dust
don't you trust
what the white fairy riddled to you
the god of the mind fiddled the hue
and if world can believe
what children can see
I do not deceive
oh what wonders have we
who reached for the sky
a sea of endless blue
believe you can fly
and you can make it come true.
