Cherished Blessings Poem by Eleonor Santiago

Cherished Blessings

Rating: 4.0

I consider it blessing
All that comes my way
May it be someone to stay
Or bade away
May it be on summer or spring
Or winter or rainy day
May it be on bed of roses
Or thorns that prick my face
For I have learned to love
Whatever maybe
For I have tasted the bitter and sweet memories
For I have traveled the moon and the seas
And the dreams I cherish
Still makes me lovely as can be
I have a God who taught me the most wonderful love
Not selfish not greedy nor in doubt
For I have family whom God sent to me
To see God often for their love is undying
For I have friends who accept me as I am
So I treat them as myself for its all I know to treat someone else
And I have someone who never let go of my hands
Who cherish me more than his life
And love me for the rest of my life
To this it is all enough
Success and failures came handy I have loved
And I have keep them all in my heart
And shall be with them to cherish to hold and to love
