A robotic existence! From daybreak
to nightfall the daily routine
of boring, monotonous mad rush
through commuting, net surfing,
receiving, sending endless e-mails,
briefings, meetings, conferences,
official partying with artificial smile
hardly leaves any escape route
to the wonder of the world outside.
At night I come out on the balcony,
look up to the sky, studded with stars,
a moon-lit vast expanse of space,
capturing something beyond confines.
Is it the message of hope lighting up life
in the prevailing gloom of drudgery?
