Chasing Happiness
Chasing happiness
In the hopes
Of catching it
Is like running
Across a field
After a Monarch butterfly
As it flits
From milkweed to milkweed
Just as you get close
It flutters away
But if you would
Just sit down and relax
Take a few deep breaths
Contemplate the blue sky
The wild flowers
And bright sunshine
The creature may just
Come by and
Light on your shoulder.
Oh how we must take those deeps breaths. This is such an inspirational poem with a truly beautiful title. Thank You Raymond
