Chapter 911 Poem by chris schwartz

Chapter 911

What's it like to see you
Coming down
Didn't know how it felt
Til I lit the candle of my own
Feels like tumbling down
That great mountain
You been climbing
Feels like what the hell
Might as well fall
Off the edge.
Cause it's just too hard
To get a grip
On all what life
Has
Taught you
Not to believe in
There comes a point
In each and every one of us
We put less ice in the glass
You think we should know better
But the past is never the past.
And yet it slipped quickly
So innocently
Away from my grasp.
I ain't got much left to say
About the love between
You and I
Except you buried it
Long before we flew high
And what you created
Was your dream lit up in flames
For that I will thank you
And carry it to my dying grave.
