Channel Surfing Poem by Newport Knights

Channel Surfing

Exposing the truth
Naked to approaching storm
Fearing winds of change. -

Translate defiance when seasons turn gray,
islands discover oceans will betray.
Upon the whisper of changing winds fly,
gravity comforts a shooting star's cry:

Identity theft
Secrets found behind a name
No longer in use...

Statues regretting their sculptere in stone,
upon the whisper of changing winds blown.
Helplessly stand in silent tragedy,
watching with eyes of weathered history:

Forgotten relics
Petrified in status quo
Listening to ghosts...

Crossing a river of crocodile tears,
uncertain vision when morning appears.
Upon the whisper of changing winds guide,
step into the fog on the other side:

Displaced refugees
Floating on afragile hope
Happiness exists...

King of deception controlling the game,
bleeds population of fortune and fame.
Suddenly finding no pages to turn,
upon th whisper of changing winds burn:

Tyrants legacy
Doomed to never reconize
a circle's disign. -Kidd
