I wonder
Why does change happen?
I want it to stop
But it won't stop, will it?
People say it has to happen
Does it?
I want to be able to speak out
I'll be scared, won't I?
I want it to pause
But the inevitable won't pause, right?
Life needs a break
I do too, right?
I wish and I also wonder:
Does it have to happen?
I think about the future
Do your loved ones, those you hold dearest have to change?
Change is a force
But does it have to be so strong?
To my heart, this world is full of the question:
Is change good or bad?
I lay in bed and I think
What is this for, the heart break of change?
I look out at the skyline
Do you create your fate?
Fate is the never ending change
Right?
Change is inevitable
But is it too inevitable?
This life is complecated
With so many questions, right?
But the unforgiving, cold truth is change
Change?
