Chains I See Poem by wanderer sailor

Chains I See

Rating: 5.0

Locked away I see you there

I do not wish to be the reason

You brake free from your jail

Because I have no promises

I can keep

A heart I follow

A freedom I seek

Where I go

I do not know

Higher you soar

Yet chained you are

High one day

Chained to the ground the next

I shall wonder

See what there is to be found

You too will grow and expand

Chained or not

Happiness will be found

For I am here and always have been

No need for promises to break

No plans to make

If meant to be

In the future me you'll see

For with others there are no promises

No commitments

Only freedoms shared

A shared desire to explore

What there is to be found

To learn and grow

That I do know

Together or alone

It is the same to me

I will wonder off you will see

So strong is your energy

For burn me you could

Lost in your fires

May be no good

Free I shall find me

Find my will and strength you will see

For if or when I return

You will find the purity for which you burn
