Celtic Songs Of Celebration Poem by Daniel McDonagh

Celtic Songs Of Celebration

Celtic songs of celebration
We sang throughout the night,
As we walked home along the Gallowgate
Praising the Bhoys in green & white.

Brother Walfrid stood in heaven’s glow
Hearing the faithful shout and sing,
That to be a Celtic supporter
Was a blessed and wondrous thing.

Our soul is wrapped in the flag of Ireland,
For our heritage, we wear proud,
While we walk the streets of Glasgow
Shouting Celtic & Irelands name out loud.
