An Irish Son Poem by Daniel McDonagh

An Irish Son

Oh father, can you hear
The voice of the Celtic fans
Who praise and glorify an Irish son
While others abuse his religion,
Do you see the green flags we proudly hold,
Can you hear our battlecry,
Can you see the ghost of bold Cuchulain
As he stands by Neil Lennon’s side.
