Catharsis Poem by Asset Balin

Catharsis

there is
(In her eyes)
this faint
(Shade of light)
glimmer of blithe-
relief from grief.

there is
(in her streams)
this grey and black-
(a mark of sixty rings)
a Mosaic, i perceive
streamed with credence.

there is
(in her cares ‘n' touch)
this calming rhyme
(overflowing words)
of generative food
for any troubled mind.

there is
(a deep regret buried)
this wish I built
(over the years i seek)
for the one who had
bourne such stains -strains

I wish i could've been your pillar
- - - -i could've been your couch
I wish i could've been more caring
- - - -i could've been your Son.
