Catch & Release Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

Catch & Release

A silent thought not spoken
Fear you'll send me on my way
A secret glance I take from you
Wanting you to play
I keep these thoughts to myself
Your friend I'm happy to be
Thoughts of misbehaving
often come to me
What is it about you that interest me so much?
Is it the chase? Or my desire for your touch?
Simple pleasure I desire
when we meet by chance
So I can send you home
Not looking or romance
Maybe using you for pleasure
will send you on your way
Meanwhile I'll think nasty thoughts
Maybe this will be my day.
