Cat Jive Poem by D.C. Beggs

Cat Jive

You walk on by, you swing your tail I my face.
You move real graceful, like a slow-motion race.
You toss a few insults, just to show you're alive.
(We call it,) Doin' The Ol' Cat Jive.
Cat Jive....Cat Jive....Cat Jive...
Doin' the ol' Cat Jive!

First we take a pose.
Then we flex our toes!
It'll be an hour before we finally touch no
Cat Jive....Cat Jive....Cat Jive...
Doin' that ol' Cat Jive!

When we finally get close, it's good for a while.
We spend our time together, and we part with a smile.
Remember! Twenty feet is as good as a mile!
Why don't you roll a little closer, so we can replay in Style.!
Cat Jive....Cat Jive....Cat Jive...
Doin' the ol' Cat Jive!
