from "Curious Creatures"
He'll push on the door
and yowl bloody murder
and make you get out of your bed.
If you open up
he'll sashay in—
like there's not a care in his head!
Very funny! So true, and cats when they yowl can sound just like human babies, don't you think? They really pluck at our heart strings.
yes, they can sound like babies, and whether aware of it or not, they use their voices to communicate. our cat was at the french doors of our bedroom last night trying to get in. knowing what would ensue, and because it wasn't cold or inclement, i ignored him. thanks for your comment. -glen
