Career Poem by NikMorgan The 2nd

Career

Rating: 2.7

Living seems impossible
Though life is just a game
Snakes
And incestuous ladders
It's their rules
They say what's fair
Don't play too hard
Acceptance is now a virtue
There's only one style
Suits all

I've tried to see the big picture
All I found was a mirror
Where ego stares with a look of disdain

Is humanity the cost of ambition
Sacrifice
Steals from the soul
You drive
And you drive
Till you've nowhere to be
Corporate incorporated
A company asset
Loosing face till faceless
Becoming the machine
