Capturing My Heart Poem by chance topliss

the moon is shining like morning mist on a white rose
the ocean is sparkling like a million white diamonds
yet this compares not to your eyes that sparkle beyond all of this
your voice cannot be compared to something on this earth
this heart it lusts for you
this heart you have captured so
therefore i tell you
this world is not yours
you are the sun that the world rotates around
you create a life and make the day
without you we would not exist
surely god created us to please you
the birds should fly around you
the men should weep at your beauty
i am yours please take this heart of mine
for i could take on a nation and survive
but when i see you i fall to the ground
i bend my head and weep just looking at you
for if i could choose to do one thing on this earth
it would be staring at you
i love you.
