Capstone Fall, Victory Ridge Poem by Mason Maestro

Capstone Fall, Victory Ridge

A kidnapped child trafficked, directly delivered
Not sold for his kidneys, nor for his liver
Ritual rite at a Masonic lodge
Attended by a well-renowned entourage

Think of the dogs on the streets of Parissa
Think of forced marriage under Sharia
Think of the business for tech limb prosthetics
Redefining our soldiers aesthetics

Think of a brothel with no God-damned patrons
Think of our rail lines without any stations
Think of voodoo without an effigy
Think of what's grim with a dash of severity

Think of a judge with a sense of compassion
A radical Muslim is now an Alaskan
Think of his brother raping a Swede
I think it was his third or fourth one this week

Re-engineered culture, cast to suit
By a power so savvy, shrewd and astute
The capstone on the pyramid quivered with fright
When He was tried, tied, beat and then crucified
