Capital Punishment Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Capital Punishment

Rating: 5.0

Watch caught dead man walking
hung upon an instant sudden
unsolicited crime forfeited passion.

Cannot escape sight hooked pain
the loneliness the reverence driftwood
carried by high-heeled humanity.

Love hung upon a dew mist shroud
a forfeited unfulfilled red flower
like ankle chains hobbling cast out eternity.
