Candlelight Dream Poem by olawale famodun

Candlelight Dream

Rating: 5.0

My dream is a small dream
Like a candlelight
The light looks insignificant,
But it is always a light
And it is always a dream
That can change a huge reality
A huge reality, boy,
Even when I go to sleep.
My dream, a small candlelight,
Could lighten the darkness of earth.
It’s time has come for it to shine;
The cloud cannot push it away,
The wind cannot blow it out,
My small dream is a great reality,
Reality leading into actuality.
My dream, a small dream,
A small candlelight is
A small atom bomb, a small idea
Which would shake the crust of the world.
