Candle Wax Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Candle Wax

The wick, patiently waits.
A Combustion of gases mix.
Becoming breathless before exploding into a flame.
Covering the cloth soaked in lighter fluid.
The tip engulfed in desire.
A flame sending tremors to all that surrounds.
Engulfed.
Undressing the wax in silent moans.
mixing condensation in sweat,
Devouring the wick inch by inch.
A quick lowering light, rising. Spreading it's glow.
Subsiding in the lower shadows.
Losing it's rhythm, no longer unison.
Discombobulated.
Apocalyptic. Knowing it's revelation.
The scent arises. Sprending it's urgency.
The wick now black. Burned by the bitter flame.
Selfish in nature as all it knows is to conquer.
A desire known in many ways burned by touch.
Consumed.
The glass becomes warm. Slowing becoming one with the wax In combustion.
Growing hotter.
A witness to carnal desire.
Unable to turn away.
Adhering to this cry of desire.
The wick, further entering the flame.
Thighs spreading wider. Hips slowly spread.
A Further insertion.
Surrendering cloth to flame.
The wick bubbles. Folding over at the top.
The wax melts. Becoming a puddle.
As the fire extingishes in Orgasmic nature.
