Cancer Of A Friend
It is sad,
When you find that a friend will soon leave,
I mean leave for good,
Never come back,
EVER...
Why,
Does the responsibility
Spread,
To us.
Let him go,
Or keep him for the last few months,
No,
Weeks
Of pain.
He walks into the room,
Pale and thin,
Sad.
No one person speaks.
'Hi, it's nice to see you again! '
I say after a silence
that makes my friend,
Uncomfortable.
I dare not ask how he feels
For I already know,
This may be his last visit...

maddy that is such a sad poem but heka well writen also i was woundering who this poem is about
agony and pain are part and parcel of life................face it.
cancer can take away so many people, some overcome it, others do not...it's sad. really sad....but remember, when hes gone, so is his suffering.
