Cancer! Poem by Timothy Robledo

Cancer!

Lock it up and throw away the key, Slam it to the table and give it a needle. Sit it on a chair and shock it, Isn't that what we we do to murders? So why can't we do it to the number 1 killer CANCER! It strikes out of no where leaving its trail of broken bodys twisted limbs. Changing faces, distorying futures. Taking the lives of so many. Leaving behind the question WHY? Why did this happen to me? Or Why did she have to leave? Why can't I sit down with cancer? After all we had to sit there and watch cancer kill the one's we love. Why isn't there a cure? We lock away are murders, slam them to a table give them that needle. Strap them to a chair and shock them till no1 is there. But cancer lock's away the people we love, cancer slams them to a table to get poked with needles. Straps them to a chair till they have no hair. Why can't we find this killer known as cancer and give it cancer. So that it may know the pain so many of us feel inside. So that it's family can cry and watch there loved one die. So we all can watch CANCER DIE.
