"Personally, I don't have much faith in scientific
research", she said. "Unfortunately, more than
we would like to know, often the research is biased,
methodically wrong, or even fabricated. Moreover,
even apparently honest research can yield
contradictory results.Take, for example,
the case of food irradiation.
Food irradiation has been backed by studies showing
that it gives us a safer variety of healthier and
higher quality of foods. On the other hand, other studies
have concluded that irradiated food can trigger
the growth of cancerous cells."
