Can'T I Dream? Poem by Victoria Horn

I Liked it, it is nicely written thoughts in a poetic way.... I took the liberty of placing it in small lines hope you dont mind, i did it because it is very beautiful and a little structure adds more poetic touch. keep writing :) Is it your joy to crush my dreams? Thats all i have since noone hears my screams. I close my eyes and try to find a better place just somewhere to go where i'm not disgraced. I use to smile and be happy for my life but now i just cry and cry because it feels like my heart was ripped wide open with a knife. Just give me hope and just give me love please oh please so from this fear i can rise above

this is how i feel most times. My mom isnt the most supportive on my writing, She tries to fix them, but it only hides the true meaning. I know how that feels. I love this poem

I cried literally for 5½ years because my mother didn't want me anymore. I cried because I didn't understand why she didn't want me. This is a very heartfelt and sad poem, because our parents just don't understand that we are individuals and we are unique. Even our lovers seem to want to always be in control over us, and have no conscience as they hurt us emotionally time and time again. Some even get physical about it too. There are also some who call themselves friend that will try to destroy who we are because they disagree with how we live our lives. This is such a heartfelt and soul searing write.
