Can't Find Courage Poem by Ronald Chapman

Can't Find Courage

When should I give up?
When I can't find evidence of love.
When is the right time to get closer?
A good time for the tears to stop?

Can't find the courage to stand in front of you,

I can only stand here in this distant place,
Looking at you, my dream,

After all, there seems to be one thing I will never do.

It's about to rain pink cherry blossoms in that far away place,
Tears are falling at days end,

Crying, while watching sunsets dawning
Over the shores of a dream far to the East,

Why do I think so much of you?
A woman dressed in red, white blue and black,
Waving from the shores of an Eastern Sea.

Are you a person?
Or, only a dream waving from that distant place?

Am I wrong to have such thoughts,
When I can't find evidence of love,
Can't find the courage to stand beside you?
