Can Ours Be A Love Story? (2) Poem by Kumar Pratham

Can Ours Be A Love Story? (2)

That illusionistic bliss, that dying light,
Was something more than just bright,
The light was of a setting sun,
Whose departure from the day had begun,
As I sat back in my seat,
Gazing curiously out of the window,
I witnessed a horizon so neat,
Which was doleful like a widow,
Still so high amidst the clouds,
Far away from familiar crowds,
First thought that crossed my mind,
Wasn't about the mighty nature,
But of a girl being one of her kind,
To me who was more than a stranger,
Closer to me than all others,
Who is filled of delightful colors,
Reminding me of that solemn thought,
Which in my mind had firmly wrought,
You were my pride, you are my glory,
Can ours be a love story?
