Calm In Calamity Poem by Chukwuma Adione

Calm In Calamity

When you find a venom in your veins
a violent roar in your face
a knight's arrow approaching
an earthquake beneath your stands
even an evident storm awaiting
the vultures holding their breath
praying for a fatal outcome
only be overwhelmed with calm
the calamities are in search for a victim
be calm until calamity follows suite.
