Call Of Mother Nature! Poem by Uwakwe Uchechkwu

Call Of Mother Nature!

In the still lonely woods
,
In the still lonely woods
,
Lo i walk by,
With the still whispers from mother nature
,
Whispering down my still little ears
Oh the horizon is shining unto me
in its full alluring magnificant smile,
Smiling unto me in the broad day light
.
Oh mother nature calls,
She calls for a piece of my soul
Mixed with the finest wines of poetry
And bred with the finest lines of ectasy
.
Oh look at those birds,
The birds from the lonely woods,
Whispering to me in the songs of immortals,
reminds me of the mysteries of the woods
.
Oh look at those coloured butterflies,
Dancing in the glorious rays of the sun;
The colours of which made the woods sway
to her beauty
As she flaps her branches,
O'er to men;
To those who choose to hear her yearnings
And pay homage to her unbounded beauty
The rays from the smilimg summer sun
made the stream glitter like a mirror,
Oh i can see myself through the stream,
Oh i can see mother nature smiling to me on a joyfull call,
In the language of immortals.
