Calculus Poem by Khaleel Steir

Calculus

To define what in thee world my teacher writes on the board
I clearly see gibberish or some strange scribbling on the board
How will solving these strange and complicated equations that having nothing to do with life?
OK? I understand math is needed to do my accounting later in life
Yet, how does integrals, derivatives, and all that nonsense help me?
Stop! Please stop miss! What planet are you from?
This isn't math anymore; that must be some alien language you're writing in.
Ahhh! My head is going to explode from all these strange symbols
Stop! I can't take it. What do you see in this?
How in the world are you able to translate those scribbles and symbols?
That's it! It, it must be! You're, you're, you; re ONE OF THEM!
You're an alien! I'm out of here...
