Butterflies Poem by Matthew Foor

Butterflies

Flutters pierce
Paunch

Despondent face
Turned converse

Tremulousness
Food for butterflies

Ensconce my venter
Battery of wings
Incursion
On my chest

Occluding craw

Throng of the unspeakable

Amorosity
Streperously boasts

Animosity waned

Do you see?

Amorosity is love
Animosity; hate

Both can be ill-fated

Today adulation prevails

Moments procured
By momentous momentum

Slow to observe

Heed the measurable
Follow the mindful

Amity sets pace
In this life
In this race
