But Who Follows Me In The Dark Poem by Raymond Anyanwu

But Who Follows Me In The Dark

On my way to rendezvous
Tingling sense pursues my view
But who follows me in the dark?
I step aside, but he’s still my trail
The crust answers its trampling feet
Moving my heart’s triple beat
My silent voice he raised
Bringing on plate, much shame
His face shows no blame
But who follows me in the dark?
