But She Painted Her Eyes Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

But She Painted Her Eyes

Stumble,
Tumble,
Fumble,
Humble;
The wicked borrows and does not repay!
Vanish,
Scorn,
Strangers,
Suffered;
From down under!
But she painted her eyes and fixed her hair,
And we were alike on this muse.
