Burning Like A Wild Cigarette Poem by Bonnie Dasgupta

Burning Like A Wild Cigarette

Rating: 0.5

When the daylight fades away,
And when the nature does not excites you any more,
I feel myself, by the way,
A stranger;
Who is suffering from an unknown entity,
I feel like a lonely island,
Who has nothing but an open door,
I feel betrayed, I feel empty, I feel like
I am burning like a whole wild cigarettes,

When salvation engrosses the love,
And you feel it wont come back,
Let it go...Let it find the shore,
Like the never ending sea,
Smile when it pains,
It feels like,
I am burning like a whole wild cigarette again.

There is no way around,
Rather then watching it go,
Put the whole mask,
Like that circus clown,
Sacrifice the feelings how it is,
Just like that burning cigarette,
Which intakes pain,
While glowing like pleasure to you,
Whom you often forget,
But it never forgets you......

There is always a pleasure,
Behind every tear that comes within for you,
May be now the strings are not attached,
Taking advantage of your blindness,
Taking what you cant see my love,
It is waiting for the real you,
I wish I could help you my beloved,
I wish I could see you go,
But I cant control my heart over my mind,
And so I take a bow,
Burn me as much you want,
My Love,
I will be still waiting for you,
And I want you to know,
There is always a pleasure of burning like a cigarette,
As much as, my love is you....
