Shopping for dresses and suits,
Invites to be sent,
Decorations to be sorted,
Everyone to be measured.
Trying to get organised for the best day of your life,
Panicking if something doesn’t arrive on time,
Where’s this where’s that? Has everything been booked?
Break down in tears from stress and happiness.
Walk down the aisle,
Looking and feeling so beautiful and amazing,
Starring at your future husband,
Welling up inside but smiling on the outside,
This is the happiest day of your life,
You exchange vows and rings,
Your now man and wife,
Hug so tight along with a passionate kiss,
Tear rolling down your cheek,
You couldn’t be any happier at this moment.
Walk out the church hand in hand,
Confetti floating everywhere,
Pictures being taken,
Everyone cheering and clapping maybe even crying,
Proud to of shared this special day with you both.
