Brushstrokes Poem by Catherine Casey

Brushstrokes

Brushstrokes in an azure sky,

Dappled flushed and creamy wisps.

Master’s piece for seconds held,

Where jet stream then unfolds.

Before the nightfall blanket drapes

The day insists a moments stare.

‘Please use your time and linger more’.

Of all this thought necessary.

A pondering mind is more connected.

Joining together what is not always

The state of man, nature, creator and time.
