Brother Man Poem by Nick Davis

Brother Man

Watching him so desperately,
Walk away and come to me.
His eyes are large and his heart is broken,
My brother man is going,

He is calm he is sad,
I know he is mad,
I can see it in his face,
He wants is so bad.

I hear as he speak,
The notion to run,
He wants it so bad,
He wants it to end.

From the other room there are whispers,
Of how he is now,
From the other room there are whispers,
Of how he will be found.

For his mind is going soft,
And is heart is getting heavy,
In his mind
It may be that time.

He is crying for help,
And no one is running,
And I sit and I write,
Why am I not helping?
