Broken Vessel Poem by Philip St. Cyr

Broken Vessel

Rating: 5.0

My soul is shattered...
as a vessel broken into fragments
I have fallen apart without you
My mind does not want to contemplate the longing inside of me
I am incomplete; as though a part of my heart is trapped inside of you
suffocated by the thought of being without you, my soul is gradually dying
Invisioning you with me in my dreams
Has me longing for you to come and pick up the broken pieces of my life
and make me a whole vessel once again
