You promised me riches
you promised me the world
you promised me that you
would never leave me cold

Babyboo, i'll never stop loving you
no matter how messed up you get was what you said
then why aren't you here
breaking every little promise that you ever had.

I know you know I'm complicated
I know you think I'm crazy
but remember I told you this
then you promised you would never get too busy.

It's time to let go now
thank you for breaking my heart
giving me yet another reason not to trust
any other guy from the start.
