Broken Mirrors Poem by Rachel Brewer

Broken Mirrors

I came home one day to find,
All my mirrors broken, and I know why.
It was you, my ghost, who lurks through the house.
You smashed them so you wouldn’t have to see.
See what you’ve become.
And I can’t help you because you refuse to let go.
Of me and of the world.
That is the conclusion I have come to,
In the case of my broken mirrors.

Hi Rachel, I like this one too - different subject and handled from a good perspective.
