Broken Lullabies Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Broken Lullabies

Rating: 5.0

She hides herself away to sleep
with the wounds she has to keep
his love he said was real
but his pain was all she could feel

The emotions so unreal
that his passion could only kill
taken by his love and lies
her heart beats and only dies

Lying there with his broken lullabies
her soul empty it cries
now as she feels way in to deep
in another shattered dream alone

She's there left to weep
with memories that are never gone
trying to break herself free from his alibies
in the night she can no longer hold on

An impressive voice of a broken heart, sad but having a melody in it...............10
