Broken Heart

Believing that it’s the end of the road
100 pounds forged onto your load
What you feel cannot be erased
Inscribed inside of you for years to be faced
Impossible to smile
Your dreams seem farther then a mile
Never want to see him again
But then,
There he stands
With flowers in his out-stretched hands
