Broken Children Poem by Wynand Johannes Louw

Broken Children

He cried out for something,
he cried out for truth.
Trying to hold on
in a world that's broken.
He tries to hold on...

His eyes are wild and searching
for someone who'd understand,
someone who could help him
to carry on, on his lonely road.

His eyes are wild and searching
for the reasons why he doesn't understand,
the reasons for all that he does
just to help himself carry on.

He cries out for something,
he cries out for truth.
He tries to hold on
in this world that's broken.
He tries to hold on...
